MHA in Allen County's client advocacy program helps families who don't know where to turn when a family member is suffering from a mental illness, developmental disability, addiction to drugs/alcohol and/or dementia.
MHA in Allen County is not a counseling or treatment program, however we can provide answers and guidance through the medical/legal maze of courts, hospitals, jail, law enforcement groups, social service agencies, physicians and attorneys.
MHA in Allen County works very closely with local law enforcement agencies and hospitals and it facilitates the filing of mental health petitions in Allen Superior Court.
