"_______________ IS BEARY SPECIAL because ___________" was the theme of MHA's Annual ART Contest which occurred during March and April 2007. All 4th graders in every public, private and parochial school were invited to participate by describing their special person. Students were asked to illustrate that person in any medium they wish – paint, crayons, yarn, cloth, etc. Entries were judged in a county wide competition and the winners are being displayed at various community locations. The contest, which began in 1988 with the theme of "EVERY…BODY NEEDS A HUG!", is a great success each year! The Contest awards were presented during a ceremony on May 3, 2007 at Plymouth Congregational Church.
